Shipping & Returns

 

Defective Merchandise and Returns:

 

Defective Items: Any item ordered that is defective will be replaced or refunded at no additional charge. Defective items must be returned in their original condition within 30 days from original invoice for full refund or credit. Replacement items will be sent on a 1-for-1 basis upon receipt of the defective items. Contact your sales rep for return shipping.

 

General Returns: Any returns of product mistakenly ordered or products that are not to your satisfaction must be shipped by the salon and returned in new condition within 30 days from original invoice for full refund or credit. Opened or used items cannot be returned. Items in original condition may be considered for return up to 60 days from original invoice date minus a 20% restocking fee.  Returns will be processed on a 1-for-1 basis on all items that are returned. Future Industries is not responsible for postage on returned items.

 

Due to their nature, sunless solution tubs, lamps & equipment are not returnable. Please verify you are ordering the correct item/quantity prior to completing the transaction.


Lamp Damage and Returns: All lamp orders MUST be inspected for damage when delivery is received. No claims for shipping damage can be honored without clear notations on the shippers packing slip when order is received. SALONS MUST VISUALLY INSPECT ORDER AT TIME OF DELIVERY AND NOTE ANY PROBLEMS ON THE SHIPPERS DELIVERY CONFIRM SLIP. If, for example, a box corner is dented in notation MUST be made on UPS or other shipper delivery slip. If no problems are found then install all lamps as normal. Claims for defective tanning lamps must be made within 14 days of lamp delivery. Salon Consultants will provide further information regarding requirements for returning/refunding damaged lamps.

Shipping:

When possible, all orders placed before 3:00 p.m. EST will be shipped the same day. Most orders placed after 3:00 p.m. will be shipped the next business day. During busy season, shipping times and days may vary.

Tanning lotion and supply orders are shipped using UPS™ or FEDEX™ ground. Regular shipments of lotions and/or supplies in excess of $150.00 will be shipped free (ground service only and within the continuous 48 state) provided they do not contain non-qualifying items (lamps, 5 gallon sunless solutions, etc. see larger items shipment information). Orders smaller than $150.00 will be assessed a shipping charge based on current shipping rates. Most shipments arrive within 3 business days. There is an additional fee to expedite shipping on your order. All C.O.D. orders are charged an $11.00 transaction fee. Inside delivery, delivery verification, tracking, Saturday delivery or other special delivery is charged to the customer.  When your order arrives members should verify contents.

Large Item Shipping:

Members pay shipping on orders for larger items, such as sunless solutions tubs, LP (tube) lamps, lamps, acrylics, parts & equipment. Future Industries will use the most efficient method of shipment on these items. Shipment may be done using UPS™, FEDEX™ ground, common carrier or similar shipping company to ensure timely delivery with best pricing for that delivery. There is an additional fee to expedite shipping on your order. When your order arrives members should verify contents.

Out of Stock and Backorder Items:

We make every effort to have all items in stock at all times; however, from time to time an item will not be in stock.

When you pay by credit card, check, or debit card and your items are on backorder, we will charge for the item immediately and ship the item as soon as it is available.

Should you wish to cancel a backordered item, we will issue a credit good towards your next purchase or a refund via whichever payment method was originally used (with the exception of and EFT which will be issued a credit).
